Ambassadori Academy hosted a three-day basketball camp in partnership with the Italian basketball club Umana Reyer Venezia and Stars Bridge. The camp, held on 27–29 July, brought together aspiring young athletes with the goal of discovering and supporting talented Georgian basketball players.

The program was open to children aged 12 to 16, who had the chance to train under the guidance of professional specialists from Umana Reyer Venezia, one of the leading clubs in Italy’s Serie A league. Beyond improving their technical skills, the young participants enjoyed a unique opportunity to learn from international coaches and experience high-level basketball training.

The camp provided participants with a full experience, including hotel accommodation, three meals a day, two intensive training sessions daily, as well as access to the hotel’s recreational facilities such as outdoor swimming pools and various sports activities.

Following the camp, five promising players were selected: Datuna Metreveli, Aleksandre Tekhturmanidze, Niko Akhobadze, Andria Jaliashvili, and Nika Tevzadze. From this group, one athlete will be chosen to travel to Venice for trial training sessions with Umana Reyer Venezia, marking the beginning of what could become an exciting international basketball journey.
